The Resident is an countercultural online video show, which covers social commentary, political issues, interviews with creative people, alternative news stories, and more. Segments include Vlogs, on-the-street fun, and one-on-one interview segments. The grassroots show started online in 2000 and moved to New York City TV a couple years later. It now continues to run weekly in both media, at http://www.theresident.net and on MNN's channel 67. One of the Best Internet Personalities* according to Yahoo!, The Resident (Lori Harfenist) investigates topics relevant in today’s complicated world with a fresh viewpoint.
