TOBA INLET, B.C. - Deep in the Coastal Mountain range of British Columbia, more than 300 people are working day and night to erect one of the largest hydroelectric projects in the country. The $660-million East Toba River and Montrose Creek Hydroelectric project promises to create enough energy for 75,000 homes when it becomes operational in mid-2010.less
